Kendra A. Hamilton, PhD, LSP, NCSP

Kendra A. Hamilton, PhD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, teaching on Dallas campus in the School Psychology program of the Moody School of Education. She is a licensed School Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Her clinical background includes school psychology work in various public-school districts spanning across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. She also has clinical experience providing assessment and therapeutic services in both private practice and psychiatric hospital settings.
Additionally, she has teaching experiences at the post-secondary level. Some of the psychology courses she has taught covered psychopathology, research methods, social psychology, life span/developmental psychology, psychotherapy and assessments, and more.
Her primary research interest includes the exploration of disparities in mental health, specifically exploring racial disparities. Other research interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder in children and therapeutic interventions. Dr. Hamilton has presented research both regionally and nationally.
Dr. Hamilton earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in School Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. She is a member of the National Association of School Psychology and the Dallas/Fort Worth Regional Association of School Psychologists.
